In this week’s task, the housemates are to put up a talent show that will be presented to Big Brother on Friday evening. The brief noted that the housemates are expected to be in groups of fours for the task, adding that the theme for the task is ‘VIBES!!!’. Recall that the 24 housemates were placed   in two houses for this season.The first 12 housemates   were placed in the Level Two house, while the second 12 who were introduced on Sunday were placed in the Level One house.   El-Rufai declares three-day public holiday for voter registration 26th July 2022 Nasir el-Rufai The Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has declared a three-day public holiday in the state to enable residents to complete their voter registration exercise before the July 31 deadline. The governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Muyiwa Adekeye, said in a statement on Tuesday.  The statement urged all eligible voters to seize the period to register so as to be in the position to exercise their voting rights. The statement partly read, “The Kaduna State Government has appealed to residents of the state to register to vote before July 31, 2022.  The state government has also declared July 27 to 29, 2022 as public holidays to enable more citizens to complete their voter registration.” The statement from the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House urged all eligible residents of the state to seize this window to register to vote,  and to therefore be in a position to exercise their

The state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Olusegun Agbaje, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday. According to him, if the number of new registrants so far in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration is added to those in the register of voters before in the state, the number will be about seven million. “In Lagos State as of Monday (July 18), those who registered online are 640, 560 but many of them have not completed registration. Those who have completed the registration are 451, 156. The total number of registered voters in Lagos State before the commencement of the ongoing CVR is 6,570,291, and if we add the new registrants, we have about seven million registered voters,” Agbaje said.
